Brightworth Director of Portfolio Management Don Wilson, CFP ®, CFA, and Wealth Advisor Annika Ferris, CFP®, CLU ®, CDFA™ have become Partners in Brightworth.

“Don and Annika have made significant contributions to Brightworth’s growth, culture and leadership over the years,” said Chris Dardaman, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Brightworth. “We are proud to have them take this next step and become owners as well.”

Don joined Brightworth in 1998 and has served as a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst before being promoted to his current role as the Director of Portfolio Management in 2006. His primary responsibilities include developing Brightworth’s overall investment strategy, researching investment managers and asset classes, and leading the investment research and portfolio management team. He is a CFA charter holder as well as a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner. Don graduated with Highest Honors from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Annika joined Brightworth in November 2003 as a Financial Planner and was promoted to Wealth Advisor in 2007. Her primary responsibilities include developing comprehensive financial plans for new clients as well as providing on-going planning service to existing clients. She has a Masters degree in Personal Financial Planning from Georgia State University and graduated with honors from the University of Colorado with degrees in Business Administration-Information Technology and Biology. She is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, and has earned her Chartered Life Underwriter™ and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designations. She is a member of NAPFA, Financial Planning Association and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council.
